Tulum is for lovers.
This quaint little town an hour and half away south of Cancun is the perfect hideaway and retreat for lovers and friends. It's become a top destinations in the last two years and with the much adored combination of clear blue water and lush greenery, it's not hard to see why. While there are plenty of places in Mexico worth a visit, Tulum is a destination for making memories and recharging your batteries.
It's one of the few places you can immerse in the authentic, indigenous Mexican culture, with plenty to do within close proximity. There are tons of healthy eateries with menus listing our three musts to ensure a good time: Guac, Tacos and Fresh Coconuts (or Tequila, if you need something stronger).
Jungle Maya is a sprawling forest set against the backdrop of the beautiful Caribbean ocean and pinned in the centre by Mayan ruins. For those with a high temperature tolerance, you can nearly walk or bike anywhere in Tulum. The small and bustling town is surrounded by serene beaches and peppered with more restaurants and bars than you'll ever need during your stay. This provide a bevy of options when taking a beach break or looking to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails.
