Best places to travel to in March

We’re now so close to spring than we no longer need to preface each blog post with a countdown. March equals victory in our eyes as the worst of winter is over and we promise not to miss the cold weather until it comes around again. Here are some great destinations to celebrate the unwavering strength it took to overcome this brutal winter.

March in Mexico is synonymous with March Break, also known as Spring Break however we advise against going during the March Break period (March 11-15, 2019) to avoid overcrowded locations and overpriced accommodations. Mexico has something for everyone and isn’t just limited to popular resorts dotting the Riviera Maya. Tell us the kind of trip you’d like to have and we’ll advise you where in Mexico you should visit.

Another popular Caribbean destination that has a lot more to offer than its known destinations (Montego Bay, Negril, etc). Jamaica is a lush haven with its verdant countryside, its hillsides and its numerous beaches. Delicious food can be found all throughout the island from the rolling carts on the beach to the corner restaurant. Jamaica is known for its laid-back vibe but also has plenty to do for the active traveler.

Pink sand beach. Tropical cocktails. Turquoise ocean. Breathtaking sunsets. Hospitable people. Authentic food (there’s no fast food on the island). Low pollution. Beautiful landscape. Bermuda is the perfect destination if you’re looking a quick reset before allergy season begins.

If you’re looking to travel Europe on a budget, spring and fall are the best seasons to consider. Further lowering the travel price point, Portugal is known for being one of the most affordable destinations in Europe and has everything else you’d find in any other European country. Visit the south for unbelievable beaches or add-on a 3 day trip to Morocco which is only a quick 90 minute flight away. Flights to Lisbon from March to October currently starting at $450CAD.
